I ENCOURAGE everyone to read it Rules and Regulations How to submit Go into Gallery, click the plus sign next to the correct folder and choose to either submit a new work or an existing work. Most importantly, all works must have been created in Open canvas! You are allowed to submit work that has been inked, sketch, or animated in other programs. But the bulk of the picture should be done in Open Canvas Dont know what Open Canvas is? Check here [link] and the following useful links for more information. [link] Great information on v1.1 and networking [link] Information about using NSoCs, a hack that lets you draw on each other's layers and have more than 4 layers each [link] For a free download of Open Canvas 1.1 scroll down. Users can save event files of their work, which when opened, will replay the steps that were taken to create the work. These files can also be shared among users. These files are useful for showing others how something was drawn, or for one's own reference. Event files can be locked, so they cannot be edited, or unlocked and editable." - Wikipedia How can I upload an Event File? [link] Wonderful tutorial created by ~CaliforniaClipper Also, check here [link] Because Deviantart has changed it's policies and Event Files now need to be "Zipped" in order to be uploaded! Would if I dont want people to edit my Event file? You can save the event file so that no one can edit it. Under the "export event file" is the "export 'protected' event file" if you click that, it will tell you that you cant upload to portalgraphics (the oC website) just click yes and save it as you would with a regular event file. Doing this will allow people to view the event file, but they would not be able to edit/save it if they were to make any changes to it Give it a try, see if you're comfortable with it. Tones Do you have a higher version of Open Canvas that allows you to use tones? Looking for more tones? ~Nirakone has tons and tons of great tones avilable to Open Canvas users! Check it out!
